Federation of Canadian Artists Active Member Born in Nysa, Poland in 1968, Thomas Cetnarowski graduated from the Jan Matejko University of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland in 1993 with a Masters degree in Fine Arts. In 1998 Thomas completed a classical animation program at the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver, B.C. His inspiration comes from diverse eras in the history of fine arts, particularly French and Spanish Surrealism and French Impressionism. For Thomas, there are no rules and no borders. Every place, every situation, every moment in life can be an endless source of artistic inspiration. Thomas’ favorite techniques include oil painting, oil and dry pastel, and pencil drawing.
